Nightlife in Mazatlan should live up to your expectations. In Mazatlan it is not only acceptable to party like a pro, it is totally expected. You will have plenty of chances to do your party routine. The nightlife in Mazatlan starts late, many of the nightclubs and discos do not even open until 9 or 10 PM, and winds down early in the morning. Most of the discos in Mazatlan close around 3 or 4 AM. A good starting place (or stopping place), is the nightlife and dining complex known as Fiesta Land.
Many of the local restaurants feature live music, there are Mexican Fiestas and Theme Night Spectaculars. One thing is certain; you won't be bored in Mazatlan after dark!
Nearly all of the clubs are located within the Zona Dorada. In front of the El Cid Resort is El Caracol which offers dancing, open bar on weekends, and a lot of smoke machines.
To satisfy your need for the hottest and latest Latin beats, on the intersection between Ave. Camaron Sabalo and Ave Rodolfo T. Loaiza is Mundo Banana's - Very popular among locals.
A block from Camaron Sabalo is Ave Rodolfo Loaiza, which is a strip of restaurants and clubs. The most popular along here are Gringo Lingo and Joe's Oyster Bar. Av. de Las Garzas acts a bridge between the two, and is covered with more nightlife.
A popular restaurant/dance club among locals, Mango's. Walk two minutes and you'll come a cross Blu. Open Thurs-Sunday, At the southern end of the Zona is the not-to-be-missed ‘Fiesta Land’ complex. Inside are a total of 7 restaurants and clubs; the most popular of which are Bora-Bora, which is filled with a younger crowd who enjoy dancing on the bar, and Valentino’s which is another lively club, with a large dance floor and open bar on weekends.
Further down Av. Del Mar, is Señor Frog’s, offering techno Fridays and a packed house on Saturdays. A couple of minutes down the street the newest addition to Mazatlan's exciting night-life, El Coliseo, provides the crowd with lights, loud popular music, and much dancing.
Also on Av. Del Mar is El Toro Bravo which provides you with a variety of music plus a mechanical bull for anyone willing to go for a spin.
Many of the hotels in Mazatlan have discotheques where you can dance. A good example is the Sabalos Hotel that also has Joe’s Oyster Bar, situated under a palm hut next to the beach. There are also great places for having fun at Plaza Valentino’s, such as Bora Bora or Mikonos that have live or hi-tech music.
